NGH Hypnotherapist Training

課程簡介

NGH Hypnotherapist Certification Course
Accredited by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH)

The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), founded in 1951, is a non-profit educational organization and is the oldest and largest professional association for registered hypnotherapists worldwide.

Although hypnosis was once considered a form of trickery, largely due to misleading portrayals in mainstream media—such as the belief that hypnosis causes loss of consciousness, mind control, or forced confession—the therapeutic value of hypnosis has long been recognized by the medical community. As early as 1955, the British Medical Association (BMA) acknowledged the efficacy of hypnotherapy. Later, the American Medical Association (AMA) in 1958 and the American Psychiatric Association (APA) in 1962 also officially recognized the therapeutic benefits of hypnosis.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of the human mind—one we experience daily. In terms of brainwaves, it corresponds to the Alpha state, which is a relaxed yet highly focused and attentive state. In everyday life, we often experience this without realizing it—like getting lost in a good book, enjoying a favorite show, doing something we love, or playing a mobile game. You may feel that only a short time has passed, but in reality, much more time has gone by. This sense of time distortion is one of the common phenomena of hypnosis.

Hypnosis is a safe and effective method for communicating with the subconscious mind. It acts as a bridge between the conscious and subconscious, allowing us to achieve a state of mind-body harmony. During hypnosis, the individual remains fully in control, and their senses may become even sharper than usual.

Hypnotherapy involves guiding the individual into a hypnotic state and then offering positive suggestions. These suggestions help strengthen positive thinking, and improve negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
